CLAS & ALSDE: Providing Effective Feedback for Improving Classroom Instruction

Phase I: Content and Knowledge

• Complete one (1) Alabama Teacher Observation Tool, provide feedback, and complete 

  a pre-assessment from the Teacher Observation prior to attending the Alabama Core Teaching Standards training

• Attend Alabama Core Teaching Standards Training provided by the Alabama State Department of Education 

Phase II: Implementation 

• Read excerpts from Better Feedback for Better Teaching (Digital Copy) and complete all activities for the book study.

Phase III: Evaluation (Required)

• Complete online PLU Evaluation form
• Complete post assessment upon completion of all requirements
